Shift Solenoid Valve B Test

NOTE: Keep all foreign particles out of the transmission.

2. Shift Solenoid Valve B - HDS Function Test

Select Shift Solenoid Valve B in the Miscellaneous Test Menu with the HDS.

Check that Shift Sol B is indicated to ON and OFF by three seconds.
If indicated to ON and OFF, solenoid valve B is OK. The test is complete, disconnect the HDS.
If no indicated to ON and OFF, go to the next step.
3.
Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

3. Shift Solenoid Valve B - Internal Resistance Check

Disconnect the connector (A).

Measure the shift solenoid valve B resistance between the connector (B) terminal No. 1 and body ground.
Standard: 10.6?13.5 ?
If the resistance is within the standard, repair the wire between shift solenoid valve B and the PCM.
If the resistance is out of the standard, replace shift solenoid valve B.

4. All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
