CVT Driven Pulley Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Test

NOTE: Keep all foreign particles out of the transmission.

2. SCS - Short
1.
Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

Jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

3. CVT Driven Pulley Pressure Control Solenoid Valve - Internal Resistance Check

Measure the CVT driven pulley pressure control solenoid valve resistance between the following test points 1 and 2.
Test point 1
PCM connector C (51P) No. 10
Test point 2
Body ground
Standard: 5.0?6.3 ?
If the resistance is within the standard, then the test is complete, and install all removed parts.
If the resistance is out of the standard, then go to the next step, and check the CVT driven pulley pressure control solenoid valve operation.

4. CVT Driven Pulley Pressure Control Solenoid Valve - Operation Check

Disconnect the connector (A).

Connect a jumper wire from the positive battery terminal to connector (B) terminal No. 2, and connect another jumper wire from the negative battery terminal to connector terminal No. 1.
If a clicking sound is heard, repair the wire between the CVT driven pulley pressure control solenoid valve and the PCM.
If no clicking sound is heard, replace the CVT driven pulley pressure control solenoid valve.

5. All Removed Parts - Install

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
