NOTE: If you are removing the driver's seat front cover, you do not need to remove the driver's seat.

Driver's Power Seat Motor - Test
1.
Disconnect power seat control unit connector A.
2.
Test the motor by applying 12 volt battery power and ground at the power seat control unit connector A on the seat harness according to the table. When the motor stops running, disconnect 12 volt battery power immediately.
3.
If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, remove the driver's seat, then go to step 4.
NOTE: All connectors shown are the terminal side of the male terminals.

Test each motor in each direction by connecting 12 volt battery power and ground according to the table. When the motor stops running, disconnect 12 volt battery power immediately.

If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, replace:
NOTE: The recline motor is part of the seat frame.
