Moonroof Drain Channel Slider and Cable Assembly Removal and Installation
4. Drain Channel Slider and Cable Assembly - Remove
1.
Remove the screws (A, B, and C) and the bolt (D).
NOTE: Repeat this procedure on the opposite side.
2.
Turn both cable tube side brackets (A) up to release the hooks (B) from the holes in both sides of the frame.
3.
Pivot the glass brackets (C) down by sliding the link lifters (D) back, then slide both glass brackets back with the link lifters.
4.
Slide the cable assembly (E) half-way back.
5.
Remove the drain channel slider (A).
NOTE: Repeat this procedure on the opposite side.
6.
Remove both deflector sliders (A) from both glass brackets (B).
7.
Remove the cable assembly (C) and both glass brackets from the frame (D).

5. All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
Apply multipurpose grease to the glass brackets (A) and the guide rail area of the frame (B) indicated by the arrows.
Before reinstalling the motor, make sure both link lifters are parallel, and in the tilt up position.
